Patrick crossed the bar on Tuesday 13th November aged 96.
Patrick was a survivor from HMS Repulse sunk by the Japanese on December 10th 1941. He was picked up by HMS Electra and taken to Singapore. He was then detailed to provide air defence armed with an old Lee Enfield rifle on a small coaster heading to Colombo avoiding the fall of Singapore. He was then sent to Durban South Africa and home to Liverpool. He later joined Costal forces as a Petty officer coxswain on MTB's in the Mediterranean where he was mentioned in dispatches and later awarded the Distinguished service medal. May he find a safe anchorage.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
