The meeting opened at 20:00 with a silent tribute for those S/M’s that had crossed the bar
Minutes.
The minutes of the 2010 AGM meeting were read: These were Proposed by S/M Denis Whitehead and seconded by S/M John Sheldon
Matters arising
There were no matters arising and the minutes were signed as a true copy
Treasurer’s Report
S/M Berni Taft gave the 2010 financial statement;
total income was £2301-20
Total expenditure £2413-79
Expenditure over income was £112-59
The report was accepted and proposed by S/M John Watkins and seconded by S/M Bernie Butten
Branch Report for 2010
The secretary then read his report strength of the branch stood at 55. 2 Life members & 40 full, plus13 associates. Since the last AGM 2 members lost their wives Dolly Grey & Sid Porter. The secretary then thanked S/M Taft as standard bearer & social secretary for giving up time and work on dinner’s ect. also thanks to all for making a successful branch
